Welcome to Heart Work Birth Services!
Thank you for visiting my site and looking into how you can achieve an empowering and positive birth experience. This is an amazing time in your life and my wish for you is to gain the knowledge you seek to be well informed during your birth process alongside your birth partner and care provider in the setting you desire.
I am a certified birth doula with DONA International and Lamaze Childbirth trained Educator wanting to share my knowledge and compassion with you to enhance your birth experience, whether it is your first pregnancy, second, third or fourth. Through my DONA doula training (Summer 2013), Lamaze Childbirth Educator training (Spring 2020), attending numerous births, and earning educational credits in various doula, pregnancy and birth related classes, I have learned that I am a natural at helping and supporting others in challenging times. I look forward to helping you make your birth experience the best it can be through educating and/or supporting you as you navigate the birth process. As I continue to attend labors and births, I gain a hands on understanding of how to support a birthing person and the birth partner through what can be one of the most challenging and rewarding times of their life. I learn with every birth I attend that every person and labor is quite different in its own right and needs to be supported in a very special way, the way that individual needs.
I am honored to help expectant parents achieve their birth story and am so fortunate to witness a family's first moments together. Not only do I have the privilege to see the parents meet their baby for the first time, but I get to witness the moment a baby sees their parents' faces for the first time after months of hearing these people talk, laugh, and sing. It is a spectacular moment for me to be part of and look forward to helping achieve this with you.
I look forward to meeting with you to see if we have that "special spark", letting us know this special relationship is meant to be. Helping you achieve the birth experience you deserve and helping you give your baby a safe passage into this world will be an honor.
Truly yours,
Caren (she/her)
